Using some colorful stitches and a lively fabric, this wall hanging can lift you up everyday. 

Sometimes I find a piece of fabric that just speaks to me.  This is one of those.  I used different kinds of threads and emphasized the elements in the fabric.  I them put on a second piece of batting and when around some of the large areas to get a trapunto effect.  This piece is really a treat for your eyes.

  If you are looking for a colorful piece to hang on your wall- this one is for you.  The pieced is quilted completely with free motion designs.  A second piece of batting was put behind it and then restitched to give a trapunto effect.

I have always loved dahlias and this panel inspired me to make a quilt using the colors that coordinated with the panel.  I used special stitching to enhance the panel and then added some colorful borders.  This could be used as a wall hanging or a single quilt.
